Setup wizard

Reference for the setup wizard - the guided dialog new users see on first login to connect their platform and test the connection.

The setup wizard is the guided dialog new users see on first login. It walks you through connecting your platform and testing the connection so you start with a working setup.

Use it the first time you sign in to get a connection in place quickly. You can skip it and set the same things up later from Settings.

The wizard steps

The wizard moves through a few steps:

  • Welcome to Support Fusion: a short introduction. Select Continue to begin.

  • Platform credentials: enter the credentials Support Fusion uses to reach your platform, such as the API URL and the other fields your platform requires. These are the same credentials available in Settings. For where to find them, see the credential guide for your platform.

  • Connection test: the wizard checks that the credentials work. If the test passes, continue. If it fails, go back and recheck the credentials against the guide for your platform.

  • Complete: confirmation that the connection is in place. Finishing takes you to the dashboard.

Skipping the wizard

Select Skip at any step to leave the wizard without finishing. You'll see a confirmation that the setup wizard was skipped, and your account opens with no connection configured. You can configure your platform connection any time from Settings.

What happens after you finish

Once the connection test passes and you finish, you land on the dashboard. The connection is in place, but you're not syncing yet. The next steps are to link a partner organisation and configure how the relationship syncs.
