Sync

Reference for the Sync page - where you run syncs, switch automatic sync on or off, and review what's happened.

The Sync page is where you run syncs, switch automatic sync on or off, and review what's happened. It's the day-to-day control centre for a relationship.

Use it to trigger a sync on demand, manage the automatic schedule, and check sync history when you need to confirm a run finished or work out why one didn't.

Running a manual sync

A manual sync runs once, immediately. When you start one, choose a start date: only tickets created or changed on or after that date are considered. The first manual sync for a relationship sets the baseline; later manual syncs let you test changes or catch up after fixing a problem. After it runs, a new entry appears in the sync history.

Automatic sync

Turn automatic sync on per relationship to sync on a schedule rather than running each one by hand. Support Fusion runs the sync every 5 minutes.

Important: You must complete an initial manual sync before automatic sync can be enabled. Until you do, the relationship shows Initial sync required; once done, it shows Ready for automatic sync. A billing company must also be set on the account.

Sync history and filters

The sync history lists each run, most recent first. Filter the list by relationship, by status, and by time period (the default is the last 7 days). Each entry shows a status indicating how the run finished, so anything other than a clean success is your cue to open the run and look closer.

Detail records

Open a run that has detail records to see the individual tickets processed in it, along with any errors recorded against them. Use this to pinpoint which ticket caused a problem on a run that didn't complete cleanly.
